Employees of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education spoke to the international scientific conference dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Ganja State University on the topic "Actual problems of modern natural and economic sciences".
The Institute informed AZERTAC that Professor Elman Iskander, head of the Laboratory of Biological Active Substances, delivered a report on "The main pathogens of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana, thuja occidentalis, thuja plicata species" at the plenary session of the conference, and also chaired for the section "Agrarian Sciences". Sabina Jafarzadeh, PhD in Biology, delivered a report on "Resistance of fungi in various environmental conditions" and responded the questions on the topic in detail. Other employees of the institute also actively participated in the conference.
Note that more than 700 articles and books in 5 volumes have been published from 7 countries related to the theme of the conference.
16 section meetings were held within the framework of the conference dedicated to the current problems of chemistry, biology, physics and economics.
