The project of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education was among the winners of the “Main Grant Competition 2023” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev of the Azerbaijan Science Foundation. By decision of the Supervisory Board of the Scientific Foundation, the project of the Institute of Microbiology was declared the winner.
It was stated that within the framework of the grant competition, 13 projects were awarded, including a project led by corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov “Study of the fundamental principles of induction of embryogenesis and morphogenesis of fruit and berry plants in vitro, development of the resulting clones, production of biological products that increase productivity and resistance to pathogens, preparation of the scientific foundations of production technology” became the winner. The 9 project implementers also include 3 employees of the Research Institute of Fruit and Tea Growing of the Ministry of Agriculture. The work planned under the project will be carried out at the laboratory and experimental sites of both institutes. The implementation of the project is planned for 2 years.
Note that the program of the “Main Grant Competition 2023” is designed to increase the number of advanced technologies and discoveries.
