Basic activity directions : Physical- biochemical and biotechnology characteristics of regulation the enzyme synthesis in fungi 
Main scientific achievements: Elucidated the nature of the synthesis of oxidases and hydrolases in xylotrophic macromycetes and was shown their specialty inductive synthesis of enzymes, also were selected active producers for obtain the technical enzyme preparations.

Basic activity directions: Mycological assessment of safety of plant material food, feed and medical supplies. 
Main scientific achievements: Studied fungicidal properties of essential oils Laurus nobilis,  Pholomis pungens Wild, Chenopodium botrys L. included in the flora of Azerbaijan. Major components included in the essential oils of these plants is the basis of antifungal activity. Lowest rate variance coefficient essential oils affects fungostatic and high rate coefficient has fungicidial variance influence.

3. Of the various soil types of Azerbaijan identified micromycetes-producers of biologically active substanes.

Main scientific achievements: New results were obtained in the study of environmental and microbiological features of watersheds in the country. Identified active hydrocarbon oxidizing microorganisms get from water basins and patented.

Main scientific achievements: The collection consisting over 600 strains of microorganisms, including 310 bacterial, 250 filamentous fungal and 40 yeast strains isolated from natural sources have been established.

Basic activity directions: Soil Microbiology; Environmental Biotechnology. The study of diversity of soil microorganisms, their morphological and physiological properties, their role in the circulation of the major nutrients. Development of the theoretical problems of stability of landscapes to different pollutants, including a biocide.
Main scientific achievements: 1. Studied the physiological and biochemical and ecological characteristics of the soil in the main types of ecosystem and subtypes of soils of the North-eastern part of the Greater Caucasus, thus making the microbiological mapping of these soils, depending on the biogenesis of soil.
2. The theoretical basis for the creation in a large industrial region-Absheron Peninsula - closed biotechnology sector through the efficient use of internal biological resources from the simultaneous solution of acute regional environmental problems - cleaning contaminated soils, increasing their fertility and improve the quality of urban soils. 3.
